Portion of Green Line Will Be Disrupted Due To Freeway Maintenance, Effective Saturday, July 9, 2022

Green Line commuters will experience delays during the evening hours on Saturday, July 9, as construction takes place on I-345 in downtown Dallas. Shuttle buses will replace trains on the segment between Pearl/Arts District and Deep Ellum stations from 6 p.m. until end of service. Normal rail operations are expected to resume on Sunday, July 10. Passengers should look for special, non-DART branded charter buses at the red Rail Disruption bus stop sign at each station.

During the Star Spangled Spectacular at Firewheel Town Center on Sunday, July 3, bus route 238 will be on detour beginning at 9 a.m. Event road closures include Horseshoe Drive (east) between Town Center Blvd. and Crist Rd. Platform Maintenance and Repairs Completed EARLY. Light Rail Service Returns to Full Service on Saturday, June 25

Maintenance and repairs around Walnut Hill Station have been completed ahead of schedule. Full service between SMU/Mockingbird and Walnut Hill stations will resume on Saturday, June 25 at 3:30 p.m.

DART Announces July 4 Holiday Schedule

In observance of Independence Day, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will operate on a weekend schedule on Monday, July 4. The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) will not operate on Monday, July 4. DART Buses and Light Rail: Operating on a weekend schedule. TRE: No service. DART GoLink: GoLink will operate only in zones that provide Sunday service. These zones include Northwest Dallas, Inland Port, Rylie, West Dallas, North Dallas, North Central Dallas and Park Cities. Service will be unavailable in all other zones. DART Paratransit: DART's Paratransit Services will run a Saturday schedule and the Paratransit Scheduling Center will be closed. Customers may call Paratransit Reservations through Friday, July 1, to book their trips through Tuesday, July 5. Bus Routes 1 and 9 on Detour and Brief Delays for Bus Routes 45 and 47 for Juneteenth Events on Saturday, June 18 and Sunday, June 19, 2022

The Dallas Police Department Office of Community Affairs is hosting the 2022 Juneteenth Community Block Party: Knowledge Is Freedom on Saturday, June 18. A detour for bus route 1 begins at 9 a.m. and continues until approximately 3 p.m. The community block party starts at 10 a.m. at 5106 Bexar Street. Bus Route 1: Outbound from Elsie Faye Heggins: Left on S.M. Wright, left on US 175 service road, right on Bexar, regular route. Inbound from Bexar: Left on US 175 service road, right on S.M. Wright, right on Elsie Faye Heggins, left on Malcolm X, regular route. On Sunday, June 19, the Juneteenth March beginning at Yvonne A. Ewell Townview Center and ending at Dallas City Hall Plaza will place bus route 9 on detour from 1 p.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m. Bus routes 45 and 47 may experience brief delays as well. Bus Route 9: From Jefferson: Left on Colorado, right on Marsalis into Jefferson Blvd. Viaduct to regular route.

Track, Bridge Maintenance Between SMU/Mockingbird and Walnut Hill Stations Will Cause Train Delays, Bus Substitution June 23-26, 2022

The second of two rail shutdowns is scheduled from Thursday, June 23 through Sunday, June 26, 2022, for maintenance work between SMU/Mockingbird and Walnut Hill stations. Shuttle buses will operate between the affected stations, also stopping at Lovers Lane and Park Lane stations. Passengers should look for non-DART branded charter buses at the red "Rail Disruption" bus stops at each station. (NOTE: DART also provides frequent bus service between SMU/Mockingbird and Lovers Lane stations on Route 17 and between Park Lane and Walnut Hill stations on Route 27).

Tunnel Maintenance and Repairs Completed EARLY. Light Rail Service Returns to Full Service on Sunday, June 12

Maintenance and repairs in and around the Cityplace/Uptown Station tunnel are expected to be completed ahead of schedule. Full service between SMU/Mockingbird and Pearl/Arts District stations will resume at the start of regular service on Sunday, June 12.

Route 230 Moving Destination to DFW Remote South Parking, Effective June 13, 2022

Route 230 will have a new destination at DFW International Airport beginning Monday, June 13, at the newly re-opened South Remote Parking lot. The route, a part of DART's New Bus Network connecting the airport, Downtown Irving, SWMD/Parkland and Downtown Dallas, has shared limited space at DFW's nearby Rental Car Facility. The schedule will remain unchanged. The revised routing will initially operate as a detour and become permanent when new service changes take effect in September 2022.

Tunnel Maintenance to Create Rail Delays, Bus Substitution Over 4-Day Period in Early June, Effective June 9-12, 2022

Rail commuting throughout the DART system - especially between Pearl/Arts District and SMU/Mockingbird stations - will take a little longer over an upcoming 4-day span, as the agency conducts important maintenance work in the North Central tunnel. TUNNEL CLOSURE DATES: Work is scheduled to begin on Thursday morning, June 9, and conclude Sunday evening, June 12, with normal rail service resuming Monday, June 13. BUS SHUTTLE SERVICE: Special charter buses that are black and displaying a "Rail Shuttle" directional sign will board at the red Rail Disruption bus stops northbound on Pearl Street at Pearl/Arts District Station and on the upper level at SMU/Mockingbird Station; stops will be made at Cityplace/Uptown Station east (northbound) and west (southbound) portals. RAIL SYSTEM CHANGES: Red and Blue line trains operating from the south and north will turn back at Pearl/Arts District and SMU/Mockingbird stations respectively.
