Buses to Replace Weekend Red Line Train Service Between Dallas Zoo and Westmoreland Stations May 22 Through June 13, Beginning Saturday, May 22, 2021. Note: the bus bridge will also be in effect on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31.

Red Line passengers will want to allow extra time for their weekend commutes starting Saturday, May 22, when buses replace train service between Dallas Zoo and Westmoreland stations. The rail shutdown will begin at 1 a.m. on four consecutive Saturdays - May 22 & 29, June 5 & 12 - with regular service resuming at 4 a.m. on the following Mondays. Please note the bus bridge will also be in effect on Memorial Day, Monday, May 31. Buses will run every 20 minutes between affected stations. The service interruption will allow TxDOT crews to complete demolition work during Interstate 35E reconstruction. We apologize for the inconvenience.
