Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will operate on the following schedule for the Labor Day holiday on Monday, September 5. DART Buses and Light Rail: Operating on a weekend schedule. (Route 402 NorthPark Shuttle and Route 883 UTD Comet Cruiser will operate on a Sunday schedule.) The Trinity Railway Express (TRE): No service. DART GoLink: GoLink will operate only in zones that provide Sunday service. These zones include Northwest Dallas, Inland Port, Rylie, West Dallas, North Dallas, North Central Dallas and Park Cities. Bus route 104 will be on detour from 8 p.m. to 2 a.m. on Friday, August 12 during the Kingz of the South Block Party on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Westbound from Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.: Left on Myrtle, right on Pennsylvania, right on Atlanta, left on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., regular route. Eastbound from Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.: Right on Atlanta, left on Pennsylvania, left on Myrtle, right on Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., regular route.

Students, faculty and guests discovered a brand new way to get around SMU beginning August 1 when Route 442 became the SMU Campus Circulator. Dubbed the Blue Express Route, the new shuttle operates in a clockwise loop, originating on Dyer Street in the East Campus and encircling the Main Campus every half hour from 5:30 a.m. until 11:30 p.m. The complimentary service runs Monday through Friday with the exception of university holidays. For visitors to the Meadows Museum or the George W. Bush Presidential Library and Museum, DART's Route 440-SMU Express - now called the Red Express Route - continues to provide service from SMU/Mockingbird Station with access to the DART Rail System.

Patrons of DART Shuttle Route 436 are reminded that Parkland Hospital has decided to discontinue this service. As a result, Route 436 will end operation effective Wednesday, August 17, 2022. Remaining Shuttle Routes 434 and 435 will continue to serve the Southwestern Medical District area, while Local Routes 57 and 222 provide seven day-a-week coverage between the Medical District and areas presently served by Route 436.
