Bus Route 20 Detoured during Dallas Symphony Orchestra Memorial Day Concert and Fireworks at Flag Pole Hill Park on Monday, May 30, 2022

Bus route 20 will be detoured from approximately 8 to 11 p.m. on Monday, May 30 during the Dallas Symphony Orchestra Memorial Day Concert and Fireworks at Flag Pole Hill Park on Northwest Highway. Route 20: To South Garland Transit Center: After exiting White Rock Station to Northwest Highway, right on Lawther, left on East Mockingbird, left on Loop 12/Buckner, right on Northwest Highway to regular route. To Bachman Station: From Northwest Highway, left on Buckner to Peavy/Mockingbird exit, right on Mockingbird to West Lawther exit, right on Lawther, left on Northwest Highway to regular route. Note: In observance of Memorial Day, DART buses and light rail will operate on a weekend schedule on Monday, May 30.

DART Bus Service Frequency Changes Begin June 13

Beginning June 13, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will implement temporary service frequency adjustments on 31 of its 97 bus routes due to the ongoing nationwide shortage of bus operators. To restore service reliability and dependability for all of our riders, DART is implementing a five-minute temporary reduction in frequency on most routes currently operating every 15 minutes. Some routes with 20-minute midday and early evening service will change to 30-minute service. Light rail service, as well as service on the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) and the Dallas Streetcar, will remain the same. These temporary service frequency adjustments will ensure that passengers can rely on the DART service schedule, improving service and reducing bus stop wait times, while we continue to aggressively recruit new bus operators. Bus routes 1 and 103 will be on detour from approximately 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sunday, May 29 for the Carry the Load Dallas Memorial March at Reverchon Park, 3505 Maple Ave. Route 1: From Maple: Right on Oak Lawn, right to access Harry Hines, left on Harry Hines, left on Moody into Pearl, regular route. From Pearl: Continue Pearl into McKinnon into Harry Hines, right on Oak Lawn, left on Maple, regular route. Route 103: From Cedar Springs: Left on Oak Lawn, right on Lemmon Ave., right on Cole to Carlisle, left on Cedar Springs, regular route. Downtown Dallas Bus Routes Detoured During MexTour Live at AT&T Discovery District on Wednesday, May 25, 2022

The MexTour Live event at AT&T Discovery District on Wednesday, May 25 will place several downtown Dallas bus routes on detour from approximately 5 to 10 p.m. Routes affected include 3, 9, 13, 16, 18, 45, 47, 102, 105, 109, 214, 224, 230, 249, 305, 306, 308, 378 and 383. Routes 306 and 378: From Young: Left on Ervay, left on Elm, right on Field, regular route. Routes 305 and 308: From Commerce: Right on Griffin, left on Young, left on Ervay to regular route. Routes 3, 9, 13, 16, 18, 45, 47, 102, 105, 109, 214, 224, 230, 249 and 383: From Commerce: Right on Griffin, left on Young, left on Ervay, right on Commerce to regular route.

DART Announces Memorial Day Schedule for Monday, May 30

In observance of Memorial Day, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will operate on a weekend schedule on Monday, May 30. The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) will not operate on Memorial Day. DART Buses and Light Rail: Operating on a weekend schedule; TRE: No service; DART GoLink: GoLink will operate only in zones that provide Sunday service. These zones include Northwest Dallas, Inland Port, Rylie, West Dallas, North Dallas and Park Cities. Route 883 UTD Comet Cruiser Detour for All-University Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 15, 2022

UTD will be hosting its All-University Commencement Ceremony on Sunday, May 15. The traffic circle as well as Lot J will be closed. As a result, Route 883 UTD Comet Cruiser will be rerouted through Lot U. The ceremony will be held on the south side of campus, at the University Roundabout. The Sunday bus schedule will be extended to 11 p.m.

Bus Routes 28 and 106 on Detour for West End 5K on Saturday, May 14, 2022

The West End 5K will place bus routes 28 and 106 on detour from approximately 8:00 a.m. until the conclusion of the race on Saturday, May 14. Bus Routes 28 and 106: Inbound from Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge: Continue into Woodall Rodgers, exit Griffin, right on Griffin, right on Ross, left on Lamar, regular route. Outbound from Lamar: Right on McKinney into Woodall Rodgers service road, left on Akard, left on Woodall Rodgers westbound into Margaret Hill Bridge, regular route.

Routes 306, 308 and 378 detoured for Dallas Police Memorial Service on Tuesday, May 10, 2022

Routes 306, 308 and 378 will be detoured on Tuesday, May 10 from approximately 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. for the Dallas Police Memorial Service. Detours and Delays for Bus Routes 9, 30, 47, 218, 219 and 226 during Cinco de Mayo Celebrations on Saturday, May 7, 2022

On Saturday, May 7, the District 5 Cinco de Mayo Parade will place routes 30 and 218 on temporary detour from 10 a.m. through the conclusion of the parade. The parade route will begin at Henry B. Gonzalez Personalized Learning Academy and continue east on Lake June Road to end at the Prairie Creek Branch Library. On Saturday, May 7, the Dallas Cinco de Mayo Parade and Festival will place bus routes 9, 219 and 226 on detour beginning at 8 a.m. and continuing until Jefferson Boulevard reopens at approximately 4 p.m. The parade route starts at 10 a.m. in the 200 block of W.
