DART Returns to Regular Operations on Saturday, February 26

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) bus and rail service will resume tomorrow, Saturday, February 26, on its regular schedule. To ensure DART riders stay warm during the expected cold weather this weekend, and to provide assistance with travel planning, some DART transit centers will be available from 5 am to 9 pm on Sat and Sun, Feb 26 and 27. Expect Detours for Bus Routes 102 and 219 during the Dash for the Beads races on Saturday, February 26, 2022

On Saturday, February 26, the 2022 Dash for the Beads races will place routes 102 and 219 on detour beginning at approximately 8:00 a.m. and continuing until the conclusion of the races. DART Maintains Suspended Rail and Limited Bus Service Through Friday, February 25

Due to the continuing weather conditions across North Texas, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is maintaining Operating Scenario 2 of their Severe Winter Weather Operating Plans through the end of service on Friday, February 25. DART rail operations remain suspended and DART bus routes will operate on a Sunday schedule from 5:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. DART operations teams are working diligently to complete inspections and make necessary repairs to the light rail right-of-way with the goal of returning to regular service on Saturday morning. Final determination of the service schedule will be confirmed Friday afternoon. Riders should continue to verify travel changes on the DART website or by registering for DART Alerts at www.dart.org. DART Extends Limited Service Through Thursday, February 24

With increased ice accumulation across North Texas expected by the National Weather Service, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is extending Operating Scenario 2 of their Severe Winter Weather Operating Plans through the end of service on Thursday, February 24. DART rail operations remain suspended and DART bus routes will operate on a Sunday schedule from 5:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. DART will determine a service restoration timeline based on weather conditions. For the safety of both passengers and employees during the winter weather advisory by the National Weather Service, DART is implementing Operating Scenario 2 of their Severe Winter Weather Operating Plans. Route 228 Early Trips Adjusted for Better Blue Line Connections, Effective February 21, 2022

To improve transfer connections at Camp Wisdom Station, the first weekday westbound trips on Route 228 will be modified, effective Monday, February 21, 2022. Buses currently leaving Pall Mall and Tracy at 4:28 and 4:58 a.m. will be adjusted three minutes earlier, to 4:25 and 4:55, to arrive at Camp Wisdom Station at 4:30 and 5:00 a.m. respectively. Bus Shuttles to Replace Trains Sat., Feb. 12, 2022 Between Lovers Lane and Walnut Hill

Red and Orange line riders can expect delays on Saturday, Feb. 12, as system construction calls for bus shuttles between Lovers Lane and Walnut Hill stations. Orange Line passengers with destinations along the North Central corridor will be required to transfer to Red Line trains at Pearl/Arts District Station, then use the bus shuttle if traveling north of Lovers Lane. Bus patrons who transfer at Park Lane Station are encouraged to allow extra time as you connect to a shuttle bus. Shuttles will display a Route 912 destination sign and board at the red Rail Disruption bus stop at each station. Regular rail service will resume on Sunday, Feb. 13.

DART Bus Service Returns to Sunday Schedule, Rail Operations Resume at Noon

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) bus service will resume on a Sunday schedule on February 6, from 5:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m. DART rail operations are scheduled to reopen at 12:00 p.m., operating through the end of Sunday service. Regular rail and bus service will resume on Monday, February 7. DART will operate 14 shuttle bus routes between rail stations until rail service resumes. Shuttle bus routes are available on the DART website under Operating Scenario 2 at https://ift.tt/xYCgEmT. Shuttle bus service will serve these stations every 45 minutes. For riders who need service to stations in the Central Business District (CBD), Route 960 is a Downtown Circulator serving West End, Akard, St. Paul and Pearl/Arts District stations. Passengers should look for the red "Rail Disruption" bus stop signs located near each station to board a shuttle bus.

DART Suspends All Services Due to Hazardous Conditions

Due to the untenable ice conditions across North Texas, Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will suspend all rail and bus services beginning at 12:00 p.m. on Friday, February 4, through 12:00 p.m. on Sunday, February 6. The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a Hard Freeze Warning for all of Dallas/Fort Worth, reporting that temperatures will remain below freezing through Saturday morning. While road conditions across the region continue to remain extremely dangerous, DART recommends everyone avoid travel wherever possible. Passengers who need emergency service should contact the DART Customer Information Center at (214) 979-1111.

Bus Shuttles to Replace Trains Sat., Feb. 12, 2022 Between Lovers and Walnut Hill

Due to rail system construction, shuttle buses will replace trains between Lovers Lane and Walnut Hill stations. Riders on bus routes 20, 27 and 402, who transfer to/from the Red Line at Park Lane, should also expect delays as you connect to a shuttle bus. Red Line passengers, especially those with connections at Park Lane Station, are encouraged to allow extra travel time all day Saturday, February 12. Regular rail service will resume on Sunday, February 13.
