DART Rail, buses and the TRE will operate a regular weekday schedule on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, Monday, January 17, 2022. Please note: DARTmart at Akard Station will be closed on Monday, January 17 in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

The 2022 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Parade and March in Downtown Garland will place bus routes 377, 378, 402, 463, 486 and 513 on detour beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 15 and continuing until the conclusion of the event at 12:00 p.m. During the parade Walnut Street will be unavailable to DART buses between Glenbrook and 1st Street. During the March for Life on Saturday, January 15, bus routes 24, 31, 36, 84 and 183 will be on detour. The march will start at 12:00 p.m. from Cathedral Guadalupe, and travel southwest on Flora Street, left on Harwood Street, right on Ross Avenue, left on N. Field Street, right on Wood Street to end in the parking lot at the corner of Wood Street and S. Griffin Street. The march will then return back to the starting point using the same route. Detours begin at 12:00 p.m. and continue until the conclusion of the march at approximately 3:00 p.m. Bus detours available at https://ift.tt/2qccSUF
