Molson Coors and Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) will once again help North Texas residents get home safely on New Year's Eve. Free transportation will be offered the night of New Year's Eve on DART buses, light rail, Paratransit Services and the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) between EBJ Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport Station for everyone from 6:00 p.m. until the end of service. New Year's Eve schedules: Friday, December 31, 2021 - DART Buses and Light Rail: Operating on a Saturday schedule, TRE: Saturday schedule, with a 20-minute after the game special for the Stars game. The elevator at SMU/Mockingbird Station will be closed for service for one month beginning Tuesday, Dec. 21, 2021. While the elevator is being serviced, riders will need to use the escalators or stairwells. Shuttle bus service will be available for those passengers who are unable to use the stairs or escalators. The shuttle bus service will be provided to and from SMU/Mockingbird Station and both Lovers Lane (Red/Orange lines) and White Rock (Blue Line) stations. Lovers Lane shuttles will display Route 909 and operate every 20 minutes, while White Rock shuttles will display Route 910 and operate every 40 minutes. These buses board and unload at the red Rail Disruption signs located near each station. We apologize for the temporary inconvenience.

The Our Lady of Guadalupe Novena Ceremony at the Cathedral Santuario de Guadalupe, 2215 Ross Avenue, on Saturday, December 11 will place bus routes 24, 31 and 84 on temporary detour. The routes will be detoured as follows: Inbound From Ross: Right on Routh, left on Woodall Rodgers service road, left on Pearl, right on Ross, regular route.

On Friday, December 10 and Saturday, December 11, events for the 2021 BMW Dallas Marathon Weekend will place a number of bus routes on detour. Friday detours begin at 7 p.m. and Saturday detours begin at 7 a.m. Detours continue through the conclusion of the events. On Friday, bus route 26 will be on detour. On Saturday, buses affected by detours include routes 2, 11, 12, 19, 21, 26, 29, 35, 52, 59, 60, 76, 81, 82, 110, 111, 164 and 749 (Stemmons-Design District Service). DART passengers on the southern portion of the Green Line and bus routes throughout north and east Dallas should leave early and pack patience on Sunday, December 12, during the 2021 BMW Dallas Marathon. Green Line rail service will be suspended between Baylor University Medical Center and Fair Park stations, requiring customers traveling in either direction to use DART bus shuttles from approximately 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. In addition, bus routes 2, 11, 12, 19, 21, 26, 29, 35, 52, 59, 60, 76, 81/82, 110, 111, 164 and 749 (Stemmons-Design District Service) will be on detour for the duration of the race.
