On Thursday, November 25, the 2021 Dallas YMCA Turkey Trot will place a number of bus routes on detour. The race begins at 9:00 a.m. and will impact service in Downtown Dallas, Deep Ellum and North Oak Cliff. Bus routes affected include: 2, 11, 12, 19, 21, 26, 29, 35, 52, 59, 60, 76, 81/82, 110, 111, 161, 164 and 749 (Stemmons-Design District). Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) buses, light rail trains and Dallas streetcar services will operate on a Sunday schedule on Thursday, Nov. 25, and a Saturday schedule on Friday, Nov. 26 for North Texas riders. The Trinity Railway Express (TRE) will not operate Thanksgiving Day, Nov. 25 and will provide Saturday service on Friday, Nov. 26. The District 4 Veterans Day Parade steps off at 1616 E Illinois Ave. (from the parking lot of Cedar Crest Cathedral CME Church), turns left on E Illinois Avenue, left on S Corinth Street Road and proceeds down S Lancaster Road to the corner of Lancaster Road and Mentor Avenue (near VA Medical Center Station).
