Bus Detours for Routes 2, 12, 26, 35, 409, 426 and 595 for the 2021 AIDS Walk South Dallas 5K walk/run on Saturday, June 26

The 2021 AIDS Walk South Dallas 5K walk/run will place a number of bus routes on detour beginning at approximately 6 a.m. on Saturday, June 26 and continuing until the conclusion of the walk and event at 1 p.m. Buses affected by detours include 2, 12, 26, 35, 409, 426 and 595. DART to Operate on July 4 Holiday Schedule

DART will operate on the following schedule in celebration of the July 4 holiday weekend: Bus and light rail services will follow a Sunday schedule on Sunday, July 4, and Monday, July 5; the Trinity Railway Express will operate a normal Saturday schedule, July 3, and will not operate on Monday, July 5; the Inland Port GoLink Zone will operate on a Sunday schedule (5:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m. & 5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.) on Sunday, July 4 and Monday, July 5. (There is no service in any of the other GoLink Zones.); DART's Paratransit Services will run a Saturday schedule on Monday, July 5 and the Paratransit Scheduling Center will be closed. Customers may call Thursday, July 1, to book their trips through Monday, July 5, and Friday, July 2, to book their trips through Tuesday, July 6. Route 704 Ends Service To Former Parkland Hospital Site

DART makes its final stop at the old Parkland Hospital (5201 Harry Hines Blvd.) at 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, June 19. Route 704, DART's 24/7 shuttle service, will continue to operate from Southwestern Medical District/Parkland Station but will now terminate at the New Parkland Hospital's Valet Parking area (5200 Harry Hines Blvd.). Current frequency of shuttle service will be maintained. This detour will remain in effect until further notice.

Wood and Market Bus Stops Moving Due to Construction, Effective June 15, 2021

Riders who currently board buses on Wood Street between Market and Austin streets will be directed to new stops on Tuesday, June 15. - The bus stop at the corner of Wood and Market streets, which serves Routes 11, 206, 278 and 283 (ID# 13734), will be relocated directly across from Market Street. - The midblock stop, which serves Routes 29 and 59 (ID# 30052), will be moved to a temporary location one block west at Wood and Record streets. These two routes will then detour over Houston to Commerce Street and will serve the existing stop on Commerce at Record. While the detour is in place, the routes will no longer serve the stop on Market at Jackson Street. The construction is expected to last for one year.
