Due to ongoing construction, DART bus routes that normally turn left at the intersection of Elm Street at Houston Street will be placed on detour beginning Monday, March 22. Impacted routes include routes 19, 21 (to Oak Cliff), 60, 161, 164 (to downtown Dallas) and 283. Buses will make no additional stops while on detour. Other Elm Street routes will be unaffected. Orange Line passengers are advised that shuttle buses will replace rail service on two consecutive nights this weekend, to allow final testing in preparation for opening of the new Hidden Ridge Station in Irving. The shuttles will serve all stations between Bachman and DFW Airport from 8 p.m. on Friday, March 19 to 8 a.m. Saturday, March 20, and again from 8 p.m. Saturday, March 20 to 8 a.m. Sunday, March 21. Regular train service should resume at this time, pending weather. Please allow extra travel time during the affected hours. Thanks for riding DART.
