DART Increases Service Starting Oct. 19

DART will be implementing major changes in bus, rail and GoLink service starting Monday, Oct. 19, as the North Texas economy slowly reopens. The agency will restore service on a group of routes and improve frequencies on others to just under 90 percent of pre-pandemic levels. Ride DART for Free to Vote in the 2020 General Election

Dallas Area Rapid Transit (DART) is once again providing free trips to voting locations across the service area. Voters can ride at no charge on all DART bus, light rail, Dallas Streetcar, GoLink and Paratransit service, and on the Trinity Railway Express (TRE) between EBJ Union Station and CentrePort/DFW Airport Station. DART will provide free rides to voters on the following days: Early voting on Saturday, Oct. 17 and Saturday, Oct. 24; and Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 3. Free DART service will be available all day to help you get to your polling location.

Route 2 Stops Closed During S.M. Wright Freeway Demolition, Effective Monday, September 21, 2020

Customers who ride Route 2 are advised that several bus stops will be temporarily out of service due to demolition work on S.M. Wright Freeway at Elsie Faye Heggins Street. Beginning at 9 a.m. on Monday, September 21, the following eastbound (to Culver) stops will be impacted; Colonial @ Pear; Colonial @ Marburg; Elsie Faye Heggins @ US-175; Elsie Faye Heggins @ Harwood. Westbound (to Downtown Dallas) service will be unaffected. Regular operation is expected to resume around 10 p.m. on Wednesday, September 23. Thanks for riding DART.

Dallas Streetcar Service Alert for Monday, September 7

The Dallas Streetcar will not operate at the beginning of scheduled service Mon., Sept. 7, so that a damaged pole that holds the overhead wire or power line can be repaired. A shuttle bus will be available until completion later that afternoon. Reminder: DART will operate a modified Labor Day schedule on Sept. 7. DART bus, light rail and Dallas streetcar services will follow a Sunday schedule. The Trinity Railway Express commuter rail will not operate.
