Repair Work Winding Down As Las Colinas APT Faces 3rd Closure, Effective May 7-11, 2018

Passengers on the Las Colinas Area Personal Transit System (APT) should prepare for at least one more shutdown, as construction upgrade approaches its final phase. DART will again provide shuttle bus service over the APT route, this time for the week of May 7-11, 2018. Route 503 buses will again meet Orange Line trains at Las Colinas Urban Center Station and operate in a counter-clockwise loop over Lake Carolyn Parkway, Riverside, Las Colinas Boulevard and O'Connor Boulevard. Hours of operation will be 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on weekdays. Frequency will be approximately 15-20 minutes. The shuttle, like the APT, will remain free to customers.

New Route 585 to Move From Arapaho Center Station To Spring Valley Station, Effective April 23, 2018

As a result of public input, new Bus Route 585 will be modified to serve Spring Valley Station instead of Arapaho Center Station, effective Monday, April 23, 2018. Service will be discontinued along Grove north of Centennial. From Forest Lane Station, buses will follow current route along Audelia Road, then operate along Buckingham, Abrams and Centennial into Spring Valley Station, terminating on Lingco Drive. Passengers are encouraged to obtain new customer schedules dated April 23, 2018. This change will become permanent when new system-wide services modifications take effect in August. Routes 161, 206, 278 Back on Houston St. Due to TxDOT Project, Effective April 23, 2018

Due to construction of TxDOT's lengthy Southern Gateway Project and its impact on Interstate 35E's HOV lane, several DART bus routes are being detoured, effective Monday, April 23, 2018. Routes 161, 206 and 278 will exit Downtown Dallas via Houston Street before rejoining the freeway at Marsalis Avenue. Schedules will remain unchanged. The major change for all three routes will be relocation of the popular bus stop on Reunion Boulevard West to the existing stop on Houston at Young, directly in front of the terminal. These detours will become permanent when other system-wide service modifications are implemented in August. The massive traffic project should conclude in late 2021. Thanks for riding DART.
