Buses to Replace Trains On Crucial Bridge Segment As TRE Upgrade Continues, Effective April 6-9, 2018

Buses will replace trains between West Irving and CentrePort/DFW Airport stations starting the first full weekend in April. TRE service is being temporarily suspended there to replace a bridge over Bear Creek, a major step in TRE's ongoing capacity improvements. The substitution will only impact the final two westbound trains on Friday evening, April 6, and all operations on Saturday, April 7, and Monday, April 9. Buses will be used to carry passengers between West Irving and CentrePort/DFW Airport stations. Passengers can expect possible delays of up to 45 minutes on a typical commute and are encouraged to allow an ample amount of extra time on those days. Weather permitting, normal rail service should resume on Tuesday, April 10. The closure will enable TRE to greatly increase safety and flexibility with double-track capabilities. DART is starting a permit parking program at Downtown Rowlett Station limited to residents of the DART Service Area. Customers who display a valid DART resident parking permit decal on their vehicle will be able to park in the lots designated Permit Parking Only (areas A and B on the map at http://ift.tt/2qccSUF). Beginning May 7, vehicles in permit-only areas without a valid permit will be subject to a citation. DART representatives will issue permits at Downtown Rowlett Station weekdays beginning March 26, 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., for two weeks. Permits will also be issued from April 30 to May 4. To receive a resident parking permit, a motorist must provide current and valid proof of residency and verification of vehicle(s) ownership.

The Grails Resource Plugin often has to exchange URIs for resources with other internal components. Those other components will decode any URI passed to them. To protect against directory traversal the Grails Resource Plugin did the following: normalized the URI, checked the normalized URI did not step outside the appropriate root directory (e.g. the web application root), decoded the URI and checked that this did not introduce additional /../ (and similar) sequences. A bug was introduced where the Grails Resource Plugin before 1.2.13 returned the decoded version of the URI rather than the normalized version of the URI after the directory traversal check. This exposed a double decoding vulnerability. To address this issue, the Grails Resource Plugin now repeatedly decodes the URI up to three times or until decoding no longer changes the URI. On Sunday, March 25, the 2018 Toyota Rock 'n' Roll Dallas Half Marathon will place a number of bus routes on detour beginning at 8 a.m. and continuing until approximately 3 p.m. The Half Marathon event will start at Young Street and Lamar and finish at the Reunion Lawn.
